Representative Samuels moved that the House rescind previous action in failing to concur in the Senate amendment to CSHB 121(L&C) am (page 2057). 2008-04-10 House Journal Page 2782 Representative Samuels placed a call of the House. **The presence of Representatives Crawford, Joule, Doll, Cissna, Gardner, Doogan, Kerttula, Nelson, Salmon, Ramras, Holmes, Kawasaki, Gara, Guttenberg, Lynn, Gruenberg, Kelly, and Meyer was noted. The call was satisfied. The question being: "Shall the House rescind previous action in failing to concur in the Senate amendment to CSHB 121(L&C) am?" The roll was taken with the following result: SCS CSHB 121(FIN) Rescind previous action in failing to concur YEAS: 38 NAYS: 2 EXCUSED: 0 ABSENT: 0 Yeas: Buch, Chenault, Cissna, Coghill, Crawford, Dahlstrom, Doll, Doogan, Edgmon, Fairclough, Foster, Gara, Gardner, Gatto, Gruenberg, Guttenberg, Harris, Hawker, Holmes, Johansen, Johnson, Joule, Kawasaki, Keller, Kelly, Kerttula, Meyer, Nelson, Neuman, Olson, Ramras, Roses, Salmon, Samuels, Seaton, Stoltze, Thomas, Wilson Nays: LeDoux, Lynn Gara changed from "Nay" to "Yea". And so, the House rescinded its action. Representative Samuels moved that the House concur in the Senate amendment to CSHB 121(L&C) am, thus adopting SCS CSHB 121(FIN), and recommended that the members vote yes. Representative Seaton declared a conflict of interest. The question being: "Shall the House concur in the Senate amendment to CSHB 121(L&C) am?" Representative Samuels moved the effective date clause. The question being: "Shall the effective date clause be adopted?" (technical title change) 2008-04-10 House Journal Page 2784 The Chief Clerk notified the Senate. SCS CSHB 121(FIN)(efd fld) was referred to the Chief Clerk for engrossment and enrollment.
